Nestled within Oxford’s historic center, the Scholar’s Quill Writing Retreat combines structured daily workshops, dedicated writing time in one of Oxford’s magnificent libraries, and the community of fellow scholars. Whether you are just getting a new project up off the ground or are preparing the revisions to your manuscript, this immersive program is intended not only to grant you the mental and physical space to prioritise your work but will leave you with clarity on your research, lasting memories, and a tight-knit community of scholars which you can continue to grow alongside within Accepted Society.

Day 1: Foundations & Organization

  • 10:00am - 11:30am: Opening Workshop - Setting Intentions & Structural Frameworks

  • 11:30am - 1:00pm: Lunch Break

  • 1:00pm - 4:00pm: Guided Writing Sprint in Oxford's Old Bodleian

Day 2: Breaking Through Barriers

  • 10:00am - 11:30am: Workshop - Identifying & Conquering Creative Obstacles

  • 11:30am - 1:00pm: Lunch Break

  • 1:00pm - 4:00pm: Focused Writing Sprint in Oxford's Radcliffe Camera (option 1:1 meetings with Kaelyn or Cait)

Day 3: The Art of Revision

  • 10:00am - 11:30am: Workshop - Professional Editing Techniques & Peer Review

  • 11:30am - 1:00pm: Lunch Break

  • 1:00pm - 4:00pm: Revision-Focused Writing Sprint in Oxford’s Duke Humphrey’s Room (option 1:1 meetings with Kaelyn or Cait)

Day 4: Celebration of Work

  • 10:00am - 12:00pm: Final Writing Sprint in Oxford’s Radcliffe Camera (option 1:1 meetings with Kaelyn or Cait)

  • 12:00pm - 1:00pm: Lunch Break

  • 1:00pm - 4:00pm: Project Presentations & Constructive Feedback Session
